The restaurant manager is responsible for leading and managing the restaurant. The main goal is to control the operating costs and provide a high-quality experience to the customers. The sous chef is responsible for leading the kitchen team in the Chef's absence. Should provide guidance to junior kitchen staff members, including, but not limited, to line cooking, food preparation, and dish plating. You must oversee and organize the kitchen stock and ingredients and also should be proactive to hire and train the new kitchen employees to restaurant and kitchen standards.
The line cook is responsible for preparing the food using the recipes and the menu items created by the head chef. You should be a team player and help run the kitchen smoothly.
The waiter/waitress should be responsible for taking and delivering customer orders. You should be able to recommend the popular items on the menu and should be the forefront in providing the best customer experience. The waiter/waitress should also be very efficient in taking orders while educating the customers about allergen information and serving the customers with the best experience. You should be proactive in giving checks and collecting payments.
