The Restaurant Manager is responsible for leading and managing the restaurant. The main goal is to control the operating costs and provide high quality experience to the customers. With a positive attitude, the Manager should demonstrate leadership grounding in core “Godavari” values, you will need to set clear expectations, keep the lines of communication open and reward great performances.

Position Requirements
  • 2+ years of restaurant management (preferably in Full Service/Casual Dining) or retail or management experience.
  • High energy, fun loving personality and leadership skills to inspire a team.
  • And above all, the ability to create an unforgettable guest experience.
  • Excellent communications skills with the ability to lead others and develop long term relationships.
  • Has a track record of achieving goals of sales and profitability
  • Ability to represent in a positive light in local trade area
  • Solid understanding of restaurant P&Ls and inventory processes.
  • Ability to problem solve with others, including the RSC, vendors, guests and team members.
  • Ability to hire, train, and maintain team members who uphold the standards for service, quality, and guest focus.
  • Must have the ability/stamina to work a minimum of 55 hours a week.
  • Ability to stand/walk for 9-10 hours per day.
  • Will frequently reach, feel, bend, stoop, carry, finely manipulate and key in data.
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Must be able to tolerate higher levels of noise from music, customer and team member traffic.
  • Must be able to tolerate potential allergens: peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood and shellfish. Must be able to visually inspect items.
  • Ability to manage fast-paced, high-volume, customer-focused restaurants through organization and coordination of schedules, supervision and counseling of team members, problem-solving, maintaining cleanliness, execution of marketing plans and providing great customer service.
  • Must have excellent communication skills in English via writing, telephone, e-mail and in-person.
Sous Chef

The Sous Chef is responsible for leading the kitchen team in the chef's absence. Should Provide guidance to junior kitchen staff members, including, but not limited, to line cooking, food preparation, and dish plating. Should oversee and organize the kitchen stock and ingredients. Also should be proactive to hire and train the new kitchen employees to restaurant and kitchen standards.

Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Science or relevant field.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and best practices.
  • Good understanding of MS Office and restaurant software programs.
  • Teamwork-oriented with outstanding leadership abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Line Cook

The Line cook is responsible for preparing the food using the recipes and the menu items created by the Head chef and should be able to be a Team player and help to run the kitchen smoothly.

Position Requirements
  • Completion of vocational school or a two-year associate degree.
  • At least one year of cooking experience.
  • Excellent kitchen administration knowledge and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Strong organization and active listening skills.
  • The ability to work on your feet for most of the day and lift 30 pounds at a time.
  • Exceptional time management skills
Waiter/Waitress

The Waiter/Waitress should be responsible to take and deliver the customer orders. Should be able to recommend the popular items on the menu and should be the superior in providing the customer experience. The Waiter should also be very efficient in taking the orders and educating the customers about the Allergen information and serving the customers with the best experience. Also should be proactive in giving checks and collecting payments.
